40 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING :: You are invited to participate in a special time of personal spiritual preparation for Easter. Agnes has prepared a calendar with Bible readings and prayer topics for each day of Lent. Copies are available at the kiosk, or download it here. EXPERIENCE EASTER :: What if what happened then changes everything now? This unique DVD-driven study, The Easter Experience, brings the passion and resurrection of Jesus to life through dramatic storytelling and challenging teaching done in a highly cinematic style. You won’t want to miss it! The six-week campaign kicks off Sunday, March 7. Spring Break Vacation Bible School :: Have an amazing adventure on the High Seas from March 8 to 12, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Kids ages 3 to 10 are invited to sign up. The cost is only $25 per child. Download the registration form. CASCADE SLOWPITCH :: Cascade Commandos slow pitch team starts April 10 until June 19. The Commandos are open to newcomers, male or female, age 16 and above. WOMENS CAMP 2010 :: A journey through the Bible looking at the experiences of women who go from brokeness to strength, maturity and powerful influence. Come out and take part in this journey at Camp Sunrise, June 3 - 6. Only one camp this year, don’t miss out! Registration forms can be picked up at the kiosk today! COMPASSION GROUP :: We are a group from Cascade Church that would like to help others in a practical way. If you or someone you know is in need of encouragement or a random act of kindness, please contact Dave Darbey at 604-226-1027 or Steve McCaughey 604-375-6284. VOLUNTEER NEEDED :: We need a volunteer van driver to pick up bread, muffins and produce from local farms and bakeries (Tim Hortons, Starbucks, etc.) five days a week: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. as well as a Saturday pickup from Cobs at 6 p.m. We will be losing donations from our donors unless we have reliable person who can do this for us. This is a very important part of our Meal Centre operation. If you are able to help out, please contact Sylvia at 604-852-9305, ext.129. Thank-you. GRACE AWAKENING :: Grace Awakening is a 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. prayer meeting taking place every Tuesday at the Centre of Hope. Everyone is welcome! LOWER CAMP RENTAL :: The Salvation Army’s Camp Sunrise at Langdale, BC, offers private rentals of cottages, trailer sites and tent sites. If you want to reserve some space for your vacation, pick up a 2010 rental application from the church office. SENIOR MOMENTS :: Come out and celebrate in your St. Patrick’s Day attire.
