BLOCK PARTY:: Once again, the neighborhood churches are throwing a party! It’s happening Sunday, September 12, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. with free food from 2:00 to 4:00. You’ll enjoy: 2 Live Music Stages, a Food Court, Bouncy Castles, Mini-golf, Imagination Station, Ping-pong, and a Community Corner. Our two new participants this year are the Abbotsford Parks and Rec. and Coast Mountain Ice Cream. Also new this year, 2 – 20 by 20 tents will provide shade in the food court.

You also have the opportunity to rent your own table to either hold a bake sale, sell homemade crafts, or advertise your business. Contact Corrie for more information and to rent a table.

EMBRACE GRACE WOMENS CONFERENCE :: Embrace Grace is a women’s weekend conference on October 1 and 2, 2010. The conference is presented by the Salvation Army Women’s ministries BC Division. This year the special guest speaker will be Liz Curtis Higgs author of Bad Girls of the Bible coupled with guest worship leader Canadian singer/ song writer Melanie Hart. This two day event will take place at Christian Life Assembly in Langley. Register by August 16 to get in on the Early Bird registration fee of only $59. For more information and registration forms pick up a pamphlet from the kiosk, or contact the church office.
