Short Term Missions

INDIA SPRING BREAK 2012

A group of 12 youth, young adults, and parents have partnered with a school in Nagpur and Dhule to bring God's love to the children, teachers, and community. Here's a brief overview of what'll be happening.

There are two schools, a boys school that has a current enrolment of over 500 students (k-12) in Nagpur. Their school has graciously been given the opportunity to support boys from the lower caste in Nagpur and give them the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. There is also another school, an all girls school, that has a little over 400 students in the rural district of Dhule. These girls have a similar opportunity to learn however the circumstances are different given the rural location of the school.

In either case, we have the opportunity to visit both schools. We have been asked to teach English, run sports programs, chapel services, clean, and build relationships with the students and teachers. Pray for us as we prepare for the March 2012 Spring break. Stay tuned for fundraiser events and other opportunities to get involved and partner with us as we prepare.
